Culture and Family

familyThe Culture and Family division is an important link between Judaism and the family. From educational and holiday programming to family entertainment, there are many opportunities for children and their families to become involved. The Federation also provides significant financial support for B’rit Yisrael Religious and Hebrew schools, and provides camperships to any Federation member whose child attends a Jewish summer camp.

In addition to these local programs, the Federation also participates in Taglit Birthright Israel which provides a FREE 10- day trip to Israel for youth age 18-26 years old. For the younger children, the Federation participates in The PJ Library, FREE Jewish books and music for children age 6 months – 8 years old.

THROWBACK THURSDAY FILM NIGHT

For the whole family…..Throwback Thursday Film Night  “HAND in HAND,” Temple B’rith Sholom – Vestry Room, Thurs. June 26, 7:00pm, $5.00 per person.  Popcorn and soda included.  This is a classic, Golden Globe award-winning black-and-white film from 1960, Hand in Hand is a British film about  friendship, religion, prejudice, and tolerance.
