GenserJared Genser, founder of the non-profit, non-governmental organization called Freedom Now, presented to 20 of our legal professionals in the Cardozo Society at the Illinois Military Museum on Wednesday, March 26th. Jared discussed the challenging, risky and rewarding work of freeing prisoners of conscience around the world. Highlighting dozens of cases from Burma, Sudan, China and other countries, Jared spoke of the   painstaking work and time to it takes to support those imprisoned unfairly.

Thank you to Mark Rabin and Howard Feldman for their hard work in helping bring Jared to Springfield, as well as Grady Holley and Holley, Rosen and Beard Attorneys at Law for helping to underwrite the event. Anita Myers and Mark Deluhery put together a fabulous array of hors d’oeuvres and we are grateful to them for catering the event.
